My name is Kathryn Berry. I am an Elementary Years Teacher Candidate at the University of Northern British Columbia (Renewed 2020-2021 Bachelor of Education Program). I have the privilege to learn, play, and work in the beautiful city of Prince George, BC, on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
I am interested in helping young learners experience the joy of schooling in School District #57. What I look forward to most is seeing the smiles and gratitude of my students when they learn or experience something new. I have always loved teaching, even back in elementary school when I was a tutor to younger students. I am very warm and welcoming, and I hope that my genuine nature comes across as I welcome new learners into the school system. I am continually learning and teaching, and I look forward to learning and teaching alongside my cohort in the next 16 months.
